Jobs! 1.7 will be published on 30/12/2011 (30th December 2011)

What will be the new features?

Jobs! 1.7 is mainly focusing on improving the custom field manager.

1. New Field Types: You will have new field types in Jobs! 1.7 . The new field types will be like the following list
   
1. Job categories
2. Job countries
3. Job locations
4. URL
2. Administration Field: This is a new feature for custom fields. Administration Fields will only be visible in admin panel. Employer or job seekers will not see this field
   
3. Job Map: Jobs! will be able to create a job map for you. See the screenshot on right. The screenshot is taken with 2 example jobs. Job Map documentation is also added to our documentation site (Unlicensed users will see 'Record is not found' message)
4. User Interface Improvements: Jobs! admin panel user interface was having a few minor problems. for example, 'List Resume Fields' page was having a 'Save Order' button.
   
5. Scheduled Tasks : Jobs! Pro will have itws own Scheduled Tasks system. You can consider this as our 5th plugin type. What does it mean for you? Let me give a few examples (Please note that these are examples, There is no active cron plugins for doing these but will be added soon)
   
1. You can do periodic maintance for Jobs!
2. You can get periodic reports and e-mail the report to more than one staff or person
3. You can send e-mail to your employers before their job expires
6. Rating & Comments for Jobs
7. Rating & Comments for Resumes
