We are happy to announce that Joomla Jobs 1.0.6 is ready to download for our customers. Jobs 1.0.6 contains some new features like RSS Feeds.

Most of our customers was requesting the Job Feeds for their recuiment portals for using feeds in job site aggregators like indeed.com and simpyhired.com. The new feature of this version is this.

We have also removed the word 'component' from all urls of our Jobs component . no more sitename.com/component/jobs/employer.html , yes sitename.com/jobs/employer.html.

Some new parameters are added to configuration settings. Do not forget to check these from your admin panel

Some new language strings are added. If you are using a language different from English. Do not forget to check the language file.

A part of changelog file is below:

! 'component' word is removed from urls. no /components/jobs/employer.html , yes /jobs/employer.html
! spaces are being replaced with '-' while creating alias. Spaces were being removed before from the alias.
! 'I'm an employer' part is removed from worker panel. _lkn_employer_desc and _lkn_employer values are removed from language file
+ RSS feeds feature is added
    ! Added language strings for this
    ! Added one new tab to the component configuration. DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK YOUR SETTINGS
    ! Added one link to the worker panel
+ Site admin can control how many resume one job seeker can have. Added one new tab to the configuration settings and language strings
+ Site admin can control how many companies one employer can have. Added one new tab to the configuration settings and language strings
+ Site admin can choose to use or not to use WYSIWYG editor for text resumes
