Our newest component, lknAnswers continues to grow day by day.

We have reached beta 2. lknAnswers 1.0.2 version is focused on one new feature (POLLS) and performance optimization.

Before declaring the stable version, We want our users to test this beta version.

The changes on this version

1. Poll feature is adding to the core lknAnswers.
2. Poll related configuration settings are adding to the lknAnswers configuration panel. (There is a new config tab named Poll and User Point System is updated . There are 2 new parameter under 'User Point System' tab)
3. We have created one new rule alphauser point rule for the voting lknAnswers polls (This our 5th rule for the alpha user points). 
4. Admin panel is redesigned.
   
1. Added rss feeds from instantphp.com . You will be informed when you visit the admin panel about the updates
2. Static page is added. You will find some nice statics (like total question, answers, poll, most popular question) about your lknAnswers installation.
   
3. 'List Polls' parts is added to the admin panel. You can view all of your polls and edit them from admin panel
5. 'List Polls' part is added to the front side. This will list the questions which has poll. (You can see the screenshot below.)
6. Attachment download system is more secure. Now, It's giving the attachment with a function. The before one was directly linking the attachment.
   
7. We have optimized the sql queries on this version. They are biringing the results with a better speed than before.

After I've written the changes, I want to write some words about adding poll in questions.

1. A new button will be in question asking form. 'Ask Question & Create Poll''


2. User enters the question details above and hits the 'Ask Question & Create Poll'' button. This action creates the question and redirects user to the poll form. Lets create the classic poll of Joomla world on this step :) (There is a screenshot below. You will have an idea how it looks)




3. After the user completes the poll details and hits the submit submit button. The poll is created. See below

What do we expect from user users?
We want you to test the beta version and report the bugs you have found on this forum (Not visible to the unlicensed users)

How you will download the beta version
Download a new copy with your Download ID. The beta version files are in /package-root/beta versions folder . (Testing request for the licensed users. You need to be a licensed user to get the beta version)

One Remind
As I told on this blog post. We are currently talking about a beta version. Beta versions are good to use on a production site.
