I want to write the lknAnswers 1.0.2 and some ideas on next Jobs! version.

We are happy to announce that lknAnswers 1.0.2 is ready to download for our customers.

The changes on this version

1. Poll feature is adding to the core lknAnswers.
2. Poll related configuration settings are adding to the lknAnswers configuration panel. (There is a new config tab named Poll and User Point System is updated . There are 2 new parameter under 'User Point System' tab)
3. We have created one new rule alphauser point rule for the voting lknAnswers polls (This our 5th rule for the alpha user points).
4. Admin panel is redesigned.
   1. Added rss feeds from instantphp.com . You will be informed when you visit the admin panel about the updates
   2. Static page is added. You will find some nice statics (like total question, answers, poll, most popular question) about your lknAnswers installation.
   3. 'List Polls' parts is added to the admin panel. You can view all of your polls and edit them from admin panel
   4. Added version details and lknAnswers related links (support web site, documentation links) to the admin panel
      
5. 'List Polls' part is added to the front side. This will list the questions which has poll.
6. Attachment download system is more secure. Now, It's giving the attachment with a function. The before one was directly linking the attachment.
7. Blue colour scheme is added. This is the 3th colour scheme for the lknAnswers (default , green and blue )
   
8. We have optimized the sql queries on this version. They are bringing the results with a better speed than before.

Ideas on next Jobs! version (Jobs! 1.0.12)
Before I start, I want to say one think which makes me so happy as a developer. There is no reported big bug on our support forum. Most of discussion is related feature requesting and extending the Jobs! features.

I've written this on our support forums that we are going to publish a new version of Jobs! on last week of this moth (September). This blog post contains the ideas in our mind for Jobs! 1.0.12 (Note: Some of the features are done on our development version)

1. User File System: This is the most requested feature on support forum. It's also the most asked question for pre-sale questions. Job seeker will be able to attach the files (pdf, doc documents), images to the their resume. Current version has a text resume part.
2. User point system: We are going to create point system for employers and job seeker. Employers and Job seekers will earn points for for their every action .Posting job, adding company , buying credit updating application can be examples for the employers. Creating/updating resume, applying for a job , creating cover letter can be examples for the job seeker. Jobs! will have its own point system. We also want to support other components which has point systems like Jom Social , Alphauserpoints
3. Job Drafts: Employers will be able to save jobs as drafts. The current version does not allows to you save job drafts.
   
4. Bookmarking System For Job Seeker: Job Seeker will be able to bookmark the rss feeds (As you know there is a rss page on job seeker panel) and job search results. Job Seeker will be save them. We will add a 'My Bookmarks' part to the job seeker panel
5. Previous applications of a job seeker: Employer will be able to see the previous applications of the applicant that applicant made to the employer company. This will be a great feature for the employer.
6. Charging job seekers: We will add an option to charge the jobs seekers based on pay per resuıme or pay per resume
   
7. Edit button on view resume: It would be nice to have an edit button at the top of the view frame when viewing a resume instead of having to go back to candidate tools and go through that way. it would eliminate 2 steps.
8. Employer Tools on home page: As you know Job Seeker Tools are listed on Jobs! home page. We will add the the Employer Tools like Job Seeker Tools
9. Inform the employer when they get an application: Employers will recieve an e-mail when they get an applicant to their job.

That's all in our mind for the next Jobs! version. What do you think of these features?
