This version contains some new important features.
New Features
- User File System (UFS): Job Seekers can attach their files to the resumes. This was the most requested feature on our support forums. You can configure the file types, file count that a job seeker can own and attach to a resume
- Draft Jobs: Employers can save jobs as draft and they will be able to post the job whenever they want
- E-mail to employer when they get an application: Employer will be able to get an e-mail when they get an application. Employer needs to select the 'Inform me?' parameter while they are posting the job
- Version Information to the Admin Panel: A new tab is added to the admin panel. This tab contains version information about Jobs!.
- Application History: Employers will be able to see the application history which are made by the job seeker to the job owner company.
- Quick Resume Builder: A quick resume builder with minimum data (Full Name, E-mail, Resume language and a file (if the admin is activated the UFS from admin panel )) is added.
- Latest/Random Companies on home page: Site admin can show the latest or random companies to on the Jobs! home page
- Joomla Template is dropped from the component. As you know one of our template name was Joomla. We have dropped this template
- UFS Parameters: As You can read from above. UFS is a new feature. A new tab is added to the Jobs! configuration panel. All parameters ar new under this tab
Employer Panel>Inform employer on application?: This parameter will let employers to choose being informed or not when they get an application. If you have activated this parameter, Employer will be able to choose being informed or not when they get an application- General Settings >Activate Job Seeker Functions: This option will let you to disable job seeker functions from admin panel. Some of our users is using Jobs! as a job catalog. This parameter can be useful while you are using Jobs! as a job catalog.
- General Settings>Make Jobs! National: Some of our users want to use Jobs! for one country. This parameter help you to hide country related think from the front side.
- Home Page>Home Page Companies and Home Page>Home Page Companies: This is a new feature for Jobs! 1.0.12. You can display the latest/random companies on your Jobs! home page. You can choose 'Latest Companies', 'Random Companies' or 'Hide'. Hide parameter will not show the companies on your home page.
- New Language Strings are added. If you are using a different language from English. Do not forget to check them.
- New Configuration Parameters: New configuration parameters are added. Do not forget to check them
