Plugin System
Plugin System is a new idea for Jobs!. You may ask what a plugin can do for me to yourself.
Jobs! 1.3 will have 4 types of plugins
- Payment Plugins: These plugins will be the payment gateway integrations for Jobs! . You will be able to write your own payment gateways for your Jobs!
- System Plugins: These plugins will allow you to execute Jobs! wide actions.-
- Worker Plugins: Worker plugins will allow you to effect the resume creation results
- Employer Plugins: Employer Plugins will allow you to execute codes for employer related task.
An Example Plugin (Hide Job Seeker Contact Details From The Employers)
Hiding the contact details of job seekers from employers is one of the pre-sale questions that we have been asked. Some users does not want employers to see the contact details of job seekers.
This can be done with an Employer Plugin. This is one of the existing Jobs! plugins. The plugin details (how to use or configure) is in this Jobs! Documention
Job Alerts
Job Alerts feature is done too but the performance needs more work. I've added a screenshot of the job alert adding page. Job Seekers will be able to add their job alerts from that page. You can have an idea how it looks from that screenshot (You will see some sql queries)When is the stable version coming?
The stable version of Jobs! 1.3 is planned on 12th April. We just need to improve the performance Job Alert feature .
When we have improved the performance, We can declare Jobs! 1.3 stable version
