We are proud to announce that Jobs! 1.3 is published for the licensed users.

This version contains 3 major feature and some new configuration parameters.

The New Features

Plugin system is finalized

Jobs! will have 4 plugin types. We suggest you to visit our documentation web site. It contains documentation web site to have more information about Jobs! Plugin System. It contains documents about 'How to Install Jobs! Plugins', 'Job! Plugin Types', 'How to Develop a Jobs! Plugin' etc

1. System Plugins : This plugin types are used for system wide actions. For example, Joomfish support can be done with a system plugin or Showing the sql queries (like lknDebug plugin) are the examples of the system plugins
2. Payment Plugins : You can say payment gateways to this plugin type. Jobs! currently has 3 payment plugin : Paypal , Google Checkout and Offline Payment
3. Employer Plugins : Employer Plugins are used to effect various employer actions. For example, lknHideEmployerFields Plugin (It's a Jobs! plugin to hide specific resume fields like contact details from employers until admin aproval) is an employer plugin
4. Worker Plugins : Worker Plugins are used to effect various job seeker actions

Payment Gateways

As the mentioned above , You will be able to integrate payment gateways to Jobs! credit system. All payment systems are moved to Jobs! Plugin system

Job Alerts

Jobs! will be able to send the daily or weekly job mails to your job seekers based on their job alert criterias. We suggest you to check the related document to learn 'How to Activate Job Alerts' and 'How to Configure the Job Alerts'.

Hide Job Seeker Contact Details From The Employers

Hiding the contact details of job seekers from employers is one of the pre-sale questions that we have been asked. Some users does not want employers to see the contact details of job seekers.

This can be done with an Employer Plugin. This is one of the existing Jobs! plugins. The plugin details (how to use or configure) is in this Jobs! Documention

Employer Listing in Admin Panel is showing more details than before

As you know , Jobs! admin panel was listing the employers and it was containing links to the their datas like company details, jobs etc.

Jobs! will be able to list their "List Companies , List Jobs, List Applications,Credit Buying History,Credit Spending History" in one page

New Configuration Parameter Changes

1. Jobs! Configuration>General Settings>Agency Mode: This parameter will hide the e-mails in application detail form
2. Jobs! Configuration>Home Page>Show Login Form?: The default Jobs! template was displaying your Joomla login form on Jobs! home page. You can show or hide the login form on Jobs! home page with this parameter
3. Jobs! Configuration>Home Page>Category Style? : As you know Jobs! can show the job categories in checkboxes or select list. This parameter will effect the categories on 'Home Page', 'Advanced Search Page' and 'Job Alert Form'
4. Jobs! Configuration>Job Apply Page>Login Warning Place: As you know Jobs! will warn the user that he needs to login with "You must be registered and logged in to apply for this job" text. You select where to warn the users that they need to login to apply the jobs. See this forum thread to have more details on this parameter
5. PAYMENT RELATED PARAMETERS: As mentioned above, You need to re-configure the parameters under 'Credit System'.
   
6. Jobs! Configuration>Rss Feeds>RSS Feed Title and Jobs! Configuration>Rss Feeds>RSS Feed Description: You will be able to customize the rss feed contents with these 2 configuration. These configuration supports with sub-parameters like  {JOB_TITLE}, {JOB_STATE}, {JOB_CITY},{JOB_COUNTRY},{JOB_DESCRIPTION},{JOB_CATEGORY},{JOB_COMPANY}. Please see this forum thread to learn what these parameters means and how you can use them
7. Jobs! Configuration>User Files System>Allowed File Types: The pervious Jobs! version was expecting you to write the allowed file types that your job seekers can use with their resumes. We have converted it to multi select list.
8. Jobs! Configuration>Job Seeker Panel>JOB ALERT PARAMETERS : As mentioned above, Job Alerts are the new feature of Jobs! . There are more than one new parameters for this feature. You need to read the related document for the configuration

DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK

1. New language strings are added to the language file. If you are using that, Do not forget  to check the new language strings
2. Payment Gateways are moved to Jobs! Plugins. If you are using credit system, Do not forget to install the payment plugins
3. New Configuration parameters are added . Do not forget to check them
