We are proud to announce that we have published Jobs! Pro 1.6 is published for licensed users . Jobs! 1.6 will be the next generation of Joomla! Jobs! series

Jobs! Pro 1.6 is an out of box component for all Joomla! version

New Features of Jobs! 1.6

1. Twitter & Facebook with Bit.ly support : Yes. Jobs! 1.6 is more social component and it will have better relationship with Twitter & Facebook. You can post your new companies and jobs to specific facebook & twitter account with bit.ly url support (See the new parameters under "Jobs! Configuration>Social Bookmarking Tab")
2. Export : You can export your your jobs,company data,resumes,applications to various formats (text,pdf and csv) . (See "Jobs! Admin Panel>List Tools>Export" link)
3. Import:You can import jobs to your Jobs! with CSV files
4. New Buttons in toolbar: As explained above, You can export your Jobs! data to various formats. You will notice 'Save As PDF' button in related screens
5. MYSQLI: Jobs! 1.5 series was not supporting MYSQLI but Jobs! 1.6 BETA 1 (and later versions) will support MYSQLI too.
6. Drop Down Location Box (Completed): As you know, Jobs! using locations in drop down box. Honestly, It was having some performance problems and it was also creating css related problems on different Joomla! templates. Locations will create no more problem and it will also a have better performance. We have rewritten it
7. Job Tags: This is a new field type for Jobs! Custom Field Manager. You can tag your jobs with the power of Custom Field Manager. It will be activated when you select YES for the "Jobs! Configuration>Employer Panel>Activate Job Tagging"
8. Resume Tags: This is a new field type for Jobs! Custom Field Manager. You can tag your resumes with the power of Custom Field Manager. It will be activated when you select YES for the "Jobs! Configuration>Job Seeker Panel>Activate Resume Tagging" . When you have done this , A new tool will appear in Employer Panel. Resume tagging has the same rules for resume search.
   
9. Some issues related with other Joomla! Components : Working with other component issues are improved. For example, sh404Sef was creating problems locations & country links of Jobs! because of ":" in urls. We have changed ":" to "-" to solve the issue. That means your location & country links are changed
10. XML Feed Manager is improved: As you know, Jobs! has an custom xml feed manager for sending your jobs to sites like indeed.com. One of the parameters of xml feeds was "Field Attributes" . You can write php functions to this parameter. Do not forget to see the related documentation
    
11. Old Documentation links are changed: As you know, Jobs! backend was containing links to our old support forum. We changed these links to our new support site links

Do not forget to check these

1. New Configuration parameters are added for twitter & facebook application and job & resume tagging features. Do not forget to check them
2. New language parameters are added . If you are using Jobs! in a language different then English , Do not forget to translate them. When you open the language file, You will see a line like "//added for Jobs! 1.6". Below this line is new and above this line is the same
