We wrote an article about the status of Jobs! a few days ago. We are proud to announce that Joomla Jobs 1.0.8 is ready to download for our customers.

Jobs! 1.0.8 contains important new features.

New Features for Jobs!

Jobs! Access Control System is improved
Before the 1.0.8: When an Employer or  Job Seeker visits the site, He was able to see Employer Panel and Job Seeker Panel and use all the functions

With 1.0.8: Employer will only able to visit 'Employer Panel' and use employer related functions. Job seeker will be able to visit the Job Seeker panel and use job seeker related functions.

Toolbar on front side of the Jobs!
The new version has toolbar on front side of the component. This toolbar will show suitable links for employer and job seeker

Manual Credit adding from the admin panel
This was most request feature for Jobs! . With this version, Site admin will be able insert manual credit for any employer.

Bank Transfer is added as new payment option
Jobs! is able to accept payment to your bank account.

When you visit your admin panel, You will see Pending Credit options in your admin panel.

1. Employer request to buy credit with bank transfer option while he was credit.
2. You get first e-mail when employer request to buy credit with bank transfer option.
3. Employer will be able to send the payment details from 'Employer Panel'.
4. After employer does this, you will get the second e-mail
5. It's time to visit the 'Pending Credits' section from your admin panel.

You will be able to accept or reject the credit.

* If you accept the request, Credit will be applied to the employer account.
* If you delete the request, The request will be deleted

Employer will be noticed for both option.

Resumes Search is added to admin panel
This was a missing feature with Jobs! . Search was only on the front side. We have added resume search to the admin panel

Job categories in multi colomn
You will be able to have job categories in multi colomn on component front page.

Do not forget to check

1. New language strings are added. If you are using a language different from, do not forget to translate the new strings
2. If you activate 'Bank Transfer' option for credit buying, _lkn_employer_pending_credit_desc is important for you because We suggest you to insert your bank account detail to this language variable
3. Your users will get e-mails depending on your confiuration settings . Do not forget to check the e-mail strings.
4. New configuration parameters are added under various tabs.
